How to Make Cookies from Cake Mix
Making cookies from cake mix is a breeze! With just a box of cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil, you can whip up soft, delicious cookies in no time.

Set it to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine the box cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl and stir until a thick dough forms.
For thicker cookies, chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes before baking.
Fold in any extras like chocolate chips or sprinkles to customize your cookies.

Use a cookie scoop for evenly sized cookies that bake uniformly.
Drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave space between each cookie.

Pop them in the oven for 8-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and slightly golden.
Let the cake mix cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Yes! Try different flavors like chocolate cake mix, red velvet or funfetti cake mix, or even lemon cake mix for variety.
Keep them in an airtight container for up to a week.
Absolutely! Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then store in a freezer bag. Bake straight from frozen when ready.
Both butter and oil work well, but they give slightly different results. Butter adds a rich, creamy flavor and can make the cookies slightly firmer. Oil, on the other hand, keeps the cookies soft and moist. If you prefer a softer texture, stick with oil, but for a more buttery flavor, opt for melted butter.
Not quite! Cake mix is formulated for light, fluffy textures, while cookie mix is designed for a denser, chewier result. However, cake mix can be easily adapted to make cookies by adjusting the ingredients, giving you a soft, tender cookie with minimal effort.
