Hello! I found your blog by chance looking for a possible recipe using pancake mix for biscuits. The simplicity of your recipe is attractive. Please advise if I can use a maple pancake mix. I found a real deal at a local store clearance shelf the other day and could not resist the bargain. Is the buttermilk a necessary ingredient or could I manipulate the recipe (I do know how to make sour milk with lemon juice)? Thanks for your advice! ~ Bobbi in Michigan.
Hi Bobbi! I don’t see why not! I think that would taste delicious! Let me know how your biscuits come out!
I’m making biscuits from pancake mix, using your instructions. However, I may have found a typo! The ingredients list includes cold butter, but the instructions never mention when to use it.
It mentions only brushing the biscuits with melted butter.
Hello! No mistake! That is when you use the butter. Thanks for reaching out!

YUMMLY has a recipe attributed to you titled Artisan Chicken Sandwich with Peppadew Peppers, but with that site it links to your site for the directions. Do you still have this recipe? I would have emailed, but that contact link appears broken.
Hello, no unfortunately I do not. It was a very old recipe. If I remember correctly, it was a grilled chicken sandwich topped with the peppadews on a brioche roll with mixed greens.
What size slow cooker did you use for the oatmeal recipe?
I have a 6qt slow cooker so that’s what I used.

Hello! Unfortunately, the best way is to click on each recipe separately. Thanks so much! I have a few ebooks you can check out here: https://www.mommalew.com/shop/
