Grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray oil and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, then stir in vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

Finally, fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Using a cookie scoop or spoon drop chocolate chip cookie dough onto the greased basket of air fryer in even amounts in small batches (about 6 per batch).

Air fry cookie dough for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown on top and crispy edges (no more than 10 minutes).

If they are still too soft or gooey, let them cook for another minute or two until they are golden brown around the edges but still slightly soft on top — this will ensure that they don’t get too hard when cooled down.

Tips For Best Results When Making Chocolate Chip Air Fryer Cookies

  • Just like with a traditional oven, it’s important to preheat your air fryer before baking your cookies. This ensures that the cookies cook evenly.
  • Cooking times can vary depending on the type and model of air fryer you’re using, so it’s important to keep a close eye on your cookies while they bake. Start with a shorter cooking time than you think you’ll need when you air fryer cookies and then add additional time in small increments if necessary.
  • For better air circulation, don’t overcrowd the baking dish. It’s important to leave enough space between the cookies in the baking dish to ensure that they cook evenly. Overcrowding the dish can cause the cookies to merge together and become overcooked.
  • To prevent your cookies from sticking to the baking dish, use air fryer parchment paper or a piece of foil to line the dish before adding the cookie dough.
  • After the cookies are finished air frying, let them cool for a few minutes in the baking dish before removing them. This helps to prevent them from falling apart or sticking to the dish.

Q: Ingredients call for 1egg. But line 4 in the instructions say to add the eggs, one at a time. So, 1 egg or more? Thanks.
