Follow the package instructions, but add Italian seasoning, garlic, or a pinch of Old Bay seasoning to complement the crab filling.

For the best flavor and texture, opt for lump crab meat. If using canned crab, be sure to drain it well.

When combining the biscuit dough and the crab filling, mix gently to keep the dough light and fluffy.

Form the dough into a bowl shape in the muffin tin, so it can hold plenty of crab filling without spilling over.

If you’d like, mix in extras like chopped green onions, shredded cheddar cheese, or even a dash of hot sauce to elevate the crab filling.

While baking, mix melted butter and lemon juice together.
