Oreo Poke Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 boxed chocolate cake + Plus ingredients called for on box
- 1 box cookies and cream pudding + Plus ingredients called for on box
- 8 oz Cool Whip approximately 2-3 cups
- OREOS for garnish (mixture of cut in half and crushed)
Instructions
- Prepare and cook boxed cake mix according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, prepare cookies and cream pudding mix according to package directions.Set aside.
- Once cake is removed from oven, use the end of a wooden spoon or chopstick to poke holes all over the top of the cake – trying not to go through the whole thickness of the cake.
- Pour the cookies and cream pudding over the cake and smooth the pudding into an even layer using an offset spatula or the back of a spoon.
- Place cake in the fridge to cool slightly, then top with the Cool Whip, smoothing down in an even layer.
- Garnish with OREOs that have been cut in half and approximately 2-3 crushed OREOs.
