How to make an Oreo Poke Cake

  • Start by baking a boxed chocolate cake according to package directions in a 9×13 pan.
  • While it bakes, prepare cookies and cream pudding with milk and set it aside.
  • Once the cake is done, poke holes across the top using the handle of a wooden spoon, then pour the pudding over the warm cake, spreading it evenly so it seeps into the holes.
  • Chill slightly, then spread Cool Whip on top and refrigerate for 2–3 hours.
  • Before serving, crush Oreos and sprinkle them over the cake for a cookies-and-cream finish.
