How to Make an Oreo Mint Pie
Gather the ingredients:
If you are making your own Oreo Cookie Crust, use a food processor to crush Oreos into fine crumbs for a firm and smooth oreo pie crust.
Press the Oreo cookie crumbs tightly into the pie pan using the back of a spoon or a flat-bottomed glass.
Freeze for 10–15 minutes.
Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before mixing to avoid lumps.
If you’re in a hurry, microwave it for 10 seconds to soften slightly.
Start with ½ teaspoon of peppermint extract and gradually add more to taste. Too much can overpower the dessert.
Spread the filling over the crust.
Allow the pie to chill for at least 4 hours (or overnight) so the filling sets properly and is easier to slice.
Add crushed oreos, chocolate shavings, or even a drizzle of chocolate syrup for garnish
Store your creamy pie in an airtight container or cover it with plastic wrap. Keep it refrigerated for up to 3–4 days. For longer storage, freeze it for up to 2 months and thaw in the fridge before serving.
