How do you make pumpkin spice truffles?
Gather the ingredients:
Mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and pumpkin pie spice until well combined.
Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing and a smoother texture.
Roll the mixture into small truffle-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze the truffles for about 20-30 minutes to firm up.
Melt the orange and green melting wafers separately in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Use a fork to dip the truffles in the orange melted wafers and tap the fork on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place them back on the parchment-lined sheet.
Use the melted green wafers to drizzle or decorate the truffles for a festive, pumpkin-themed look.
Let the truffles set until the coating is firm.
Store any leftover truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze them for longer storage.
