This copycat Olive Garden chicken pasta is just what your family will love for dinner tonight. It’s a creamy sauce that is full of flavor thanks to the Italian dressing and seasoning. It’s one of our favorite Olive Garden recipes!
Copycat chicken pasta is very easy to get ready. In your slow cooker, you cook chicken, Italian dressing, cream cheese, seasonings and your favorite cooked pasta and topped with parmesan cheese. It has a consistency similar to an alfredo sauce.
A meal like Slow Cooker Copycat Olive Garden Chicken Pasta is almost like a casserole, so it’s pretty hearty and goes a long way. It’s definitely a recipe you’ll want to feed to the whole family.
Here’s what you’ll need to buy to make Copycat Olive Garden chicken Pasta:
- boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Italian seasoning
- Italian Dressing
- a block of cream cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- A box of pasta
- salt and black pepper

We love to buy the Olive Garden salad dressing. You can find it pretty much at most retailers now. Although, Aldi has a great dupe that is half the price! It has just the right amount of zest for the chicken pasta.
How to make Copycat Olive Garden Chicken Pasta:
Place chicken breasts in crockpot.
Season to taste with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Pour in the Italian Dressing, then top with cream cheese and Parmesan cheese.
Place lid on crockpot and cook for 4 hours on high.
Cook the pasta according to package directions.
While the pasta is cooking, shred the chicken with two forks.
Drain but do not rinse the pasta.
Add the pasta to the slow cooker and stir well to combine.
About the Pasta
As pictured, I’m using penne pasta to make my Olive Garden chicken pasta. We’ve also made this recipe with rotini. Any pasta that is nice and thick to hold the sauce will do.
You can either add the cooked pasta in and mix the chicken and pasta together or serve your chicken over the pasta.
While I always have pasta in my pantry, this slow cooker chicken pasta recipe is really good over rice too.
What to serve with your Olive Garden Chicken Pasta:

If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a couple of days. We love to have this pasta recipe for lunch, it reheats great!
