Snickers Poke Cake Is the Gooey, Candy-Filled Dessert You Need

Snickers poke cake is every chocolate and caramel lover’s dream come true.

If you’ve ever wished your favorite candy bar came in cake form, this dessert recipe makes that wish a reality.

This cake starts with a rich chocolate cake that’s soaked with caramel sauce, then topped with fluffy whipped topping, chopped Snickers bars, and an extra drizzle of chocolate and caramel for good measure.

Every bite is gooey, sweet, and packed with that signature nutty crunch.

It’s the kind of indulgent dessert that’s perfect for birthdays, potlucks, or anytime you want to impress a crowd without spending hours in the kitchen.

Making this delicious poke cake recipe is super simple and totally worth every decadent bite!

Start by baking a chocolate cake in a 9×13-inch pan and mixing up some chocolate pudding while it bakes.

As soon as the cake comes out of the oven, poke holes all over the top using a wooden spoon handle, then drizzle on caramel syrup so it soaks right in.

Spread a layer of chocolate pudding over the cake, then pop it in the fridge to cool for 15–20 minutes.

Once chilled, top it with a thick layer of Cool Whip, then drizzle with more caramel and chocolate sauce. Finish it off with chopped Snickers for the perfect sweet, crunchy topping!

When should I poke the holes in the cake?

Poke the holes throughout your cake when it is warm and fresh from the oven.

What kind of Snickers should I use?

Mini, fun-size, or full bars all work—just slice them into bite-sized pieces.

Can I freeze Snickers poke cake?

It’s not ideal, since the texture of the pudding and whipped topping may change. It’s best enjoyed fresh and chilled.
