Oreo Fluff Recipe
Oreo Fluff Recipe is exactly what you need when you want a dessert that looks impressive but takes almost no effort to pull together.
If you’ve ever needed a last-minute treat for a party, potluck, holiday gathering, or just a sweet craving after dinner, this creamy, no bake dessert delivers every single time.
You don’t need fancy ingredients or complicated steps — just a few simple staples and a couple minutes of mixing.

What ingredients do you need for Oreo fluff?
- Cream cheese is the rich and creamy base that gives this dessert its luscious, cheesecake-like flavor and smooth texture. Make sure it’s softened so it blends easily without lumps.
- Cookies and cream instant pudding mix helps thicken the fluff while adding even more chocolatey cookie flavor. It also gives the dessert that perfectly light, airy consistency everyone loves.
- Mini Oreos are the star of the show, adding that classic cookies-and-cream crunch in every bite. Using mini Oreos makes it easier to scoop and serve without having to crush full-size cookies.
- Mini marshmallows bring a soft, sweet bite that balances the creaminess and adds fun texture throughout.
- The rest of the ingredients for Oreo Fluff are simple pantry staples like sugar, vanilla extract, and milk — things you probably already have on hand — making this an easy, last-minute dessert you can whip up anytime.

How to Make Oreo Fluff
- Start by setting aside half of one container of mini Oreos and ½ cup of mini marshmallows for topping later.
- Soften the cream cheese first. Cold cream cheese can leave lumps in your mixture. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes so it blends perfectly smooth.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cookies and cream pudding mix, softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Using a hand mixer, beat everything together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy with no lumps.
- Next, blend in the Cool Whip until fully incorporated and light.
- Gently fold in about 2½ containers of mini Oreos, followed by the marshmallows, using a rubber spatula so everything stays fluffy.

- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the dessert to set and thicken.
- When ready to serve, spoon the fluff into a serving bowl and top with the reserved crushed Oreos and marshmallows.

Absolutely. Just roughly chop them before folding them into the mixture.
Freezing isn’t recommended since the texture can change once thawed. It’s best enjoyed chilled from the fridge.
Yes! It can absolutely be made the night before, and it actually tastes even better after sitting in the fridge for several hours. Chilling allows the pudding mix to fully set and the flavors to blend together, giving you a thicker, creamier texture. Just store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and wait to add the toppings.
First, make sure you’re using instant pudding mix — not cook-and-serve — since instant pudding is what helps thicken the mixture properly. Overmixing after adding the Cool Whip can also deflate the fluff, so gently fold it in instead of beating too long. Another culprit could be warm ingredients; using softened (not melted) cream cheese and properly chilled Cool Whip helps maintain that light, airy consistency. Finally, if it seems too soft, give it more chill time — it will firm up as it sets in the refrigerator.
