Tips for Making Football Shaped Desserts
Keep the decorating simple. Chocolate coating or frosting creates the brown football base. Pipe the laces with white icing using a small piping bag or a zip-top bag with a tiny corner snipped off.
Make clean cuts. If you’re shaping brownies or cereal treats, let them cool and set before cutting. A football-shaped cookie cutter helps keep the pieces even.
Plan for serving. Cookies, brownies, and cereal treats are easy to set out on a platter. Keep desserts with a cream cheese filling or dip refrigerated until it’s time to serve.
