Ingredients
- ½ c unsalted butter softened
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- ¾ c granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 ¼ c all purpose flour
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ c butter–softened
- 2 oz cream cheese–softened
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease the baking pan with nonstick cooking spray, then line the prepared pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy lifting.
- In a bowl, cream butter with sugar and cream cheese until light and fluffy with a hand mixer.
- For best results, make sure your butter is softened to room temperature before creaming it with the sugar. This will help create a smooth and creamy base for the cookie dough.
- Add the eggs and vanilla until creamy.
- In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and mix with a fork or whisk to break up any lumps.
