What are the three ingredients in Easter fudge?
- Chocolate (or baking chips) – This is the base of the fudge. You can use white chocolate, milk chocolate, or even pastel-colored candy melts for a fun Easter look, but since fudge has so few ingredients, good chocolate chips or baking chocolate make a big difference in flavor and texture.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk – This is the magic ingredient that makes the fudge creamy and smooth without needing a candy thermometer.
- Mix-ins or Flavor Add-ins – The third “ingredient” is what gives Easter fudge its festive twist — common choices include:
- Easter candy (Mini Eggs, Peeps, jelly beans)
- Sprinkles
- Vanilla extract
- Marshmallows

How to Make 3-Ingredient Fudge:
- Line an 8-inch pan with parchment, leaving a small overhang so you can easily lift the fudge out before slicing.
- Lightly grease the parchment.
- Add half the Cadbury mini eggs to the bottom.
- Melt chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter together until smooth, then pour into the pan and spread evenly.
- Press the remaining mini eggs on top, chill for 2–3 hours, then cut into squares and store in an airtight container or freeze.

No! You can swap in jelly beans, pastel M&M’s, chopped chocolate eggs, or sprinkles.
Yes — fudge is perfect for making ahead. Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
It’s best stored in the fridge to keep it firm, especially if your kitchen is warm.
This usually happens if the chocolate ratio is off or the mixture wasn’t chilled long enough. Be sure to measure carefully and chill fully.

Easy Easter Fudge Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ cup salted butter
- 1 10 ounce bag cadbury mini eggs
Instructions
- Prepare an 8×8 or 9×9 inch casserole dish with parchment paper spritzed with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place half of the mini eggs into the bottom of the casserole dish.
- Place chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter into a microwave safe bowl.
- Heat, uncovered, in the microwave for 1 minute.
- Stir vigorously, allowing the residual heat to help melt the chocolate. If needed, return the chocolate to the microwave and stir every 15 seconds until the chocolate has melted. Do not overheat the chocolate as it will seize up.
- Pour the fudge over the mini eggs, pressing it down into an even layer between the eggs.
- Press remaining eggs into the top of the fudge.
- Refrigerate your Easter Fudge overnight.
- For best results, bring to room temperature before cutting or use a knife heated with warm water and wiped dry to slice. Cut into squares.
