How to Make Easter Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Start by organizing all of your ingredients and supplies so everything is within reach. This makes shaping and decorating way easier (especially if little helpers are involved).
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F while you prep the dough and line your baking sheet with parchment paper so the ears don’t stick and cleanup is quick.
  3. Unroll half of each cinnamon roll and gently shape that piece into bunny ears. Place the main roll on the baking sheet and attach the ears at the top.
Tip: Press the ears slightly into the roll so they stay in place while baking. If the dough feels sticky, lightly flour your hands.
  4. Bake until golden brown. Keep an eye on the ears — since they’re thinner, they can brown faster than the center.
  5. While the rolls bake, divide the frosting into small bowls and tint each with food coloring. Use gel food coloring for brighter pastel shades without thinning out the frosting.
  6. Once the rolls are baked, let them cool slightly before spreading on the colorful frosting.

Instructions

  • Set your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
