How to Make Turkey Brownies

Gather all your ingredients before you start, and don’t forget—you can print the full recipe at the bottom of this post!

  • Use your favorite boxed brownie mix or a homemade brownie recipe.
  • Make sure your brownies are completely cool before decorating, or the candy decorations will melt or slide off.
  • Use a circle cookie cutter to give a more classic “turkey body” look.
  • Use chocolate buttercream frosting or melted chocolate as “glue” – It helps hold candy corn, eyes, and other decorations in place.
  • For the turkey’s feathers, place candy corn in a fan shape at the back of each brownie.
  • Add candy eyes and use a small red candy or frosting for the beak.

      Ingredients

      • favorite homemade brownie recipe or a favorite brownie mix
      • Miniature peanut butter cups
      • Fall colored M&Ms or chocolate candies
      • Candy eyeballs
      • Candy Corn
      • Icing or melting chocolate – any variety for sticking candies to brownies (found at the grocery store or craft stores)

      Instructions

      • Prepare your brownies according to the instructions on the box in a medium bowl.
      • Pour your brownie batter into a 9×13" baking pan sprayed with cooking spray and bake brownies until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
      • Once the brownies have cooled to room temperature, cut them into 3 inch circles. A 3″ biscuit cutter will do the trick!
      • Using a piping bag, add a dab of frosting or a tiny bit of melted chocolate and add the peanut butter cup as the turkey body.
      • Frost the back of each candy eyeball and adhere.
      • Use a red chocolate piece or a halved m&m as the gobbler.
      • Finally, place candy corn in a fan-like shape to act like the turkey feathers.

      Notes

Once decorated, keep them in a single layer in a container at room temp. Avoid stacking—they’ll smudge!
