Ingredients

  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 ¼ cup whole milk plus more if needed
  • ¼ cup chocolate sauce plus more for garnish if desired
  • 12 Oreo cookies divided
  • 1 tsp pure pure vanilla extract
  • whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill 4 short glasses or 2 tall milkshake glasses for at least 15 to 20 minutes before serving. This will ensure that the milk shake is cold enough to enjoy and won't melt too quickly.
  • Combine the milkshake mixture in the blender: ice cream, milk, chocolate sauce, vanilla, and 8 Oreo cookies and pulse until smooth. 
  • Pour the ice cream milkshakes into the inside of each chilled glass.
  • Place the cookies into a ziplock bag, crush them to your desired texture with a rolling pin.
  • Sprinkle the oreo crumbs on top of the milkshake. Garnish the top of the milkshake with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, a maraschino cherry and crushed Oreo cookies for an extra touch of indulgence. 
  • Serve the milkshake immediately after making it to ensure the best taste and texture.
