Here’s How to Make your Strawberries:
Homemade Chocolate Covered Strawberries are so easy to make. Trust me when I tell you that.
For years, I stayed away from doing anything with melting chocolate because I was intimidated by using a double boiler. Turns out, melting chocolate in the microwave is super easy!
Just be sure to use a good quality chocolate and microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring in between.
There is something about chocolate covered strawberries that is just so fancy!
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Microwave chocolate at 30 second intervals in a microwave safe bowl, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry into the chocolate, letting it coat the whole berry.
- If you decide to add something like chocolate chips like I do, dip the chocolate covered strawberry in mini chocolate chips immediately after dipping it in the chocolate.
- Place the strawberries on the baking sheet and refrigerate for about 10 minutes. The chocolate hardens rather quickly!
- Store your strawberries in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

These are so nice. I've made them once to bring to a get together, and totally forgot about them. I like this new way to dip them with the mini chips - must try!
