First things first—make sure your strawberries are rinsed, dried thoroughly, and cold.

Next, melt your favorite chocolate chips in the microwave, giving it a stir every 30 seconds until it’s perfectly smooth.
Dip each strawberry into that melty chocolate goodness, let any extra drip off, and sprinkle with toppings if you’re feeling fancy.
Decorate your chocolate covered strawberries immediately after dipping, while the chocolate is still wet so that the toppings like sprinkles, mini chips, or nuts stick perfectly before the chocolate hardens.
Pop them onto parchment paper, chill until firm, and that’s it!

High-quality semi-sweet, dark, milk, or white chocolate chips or melts all work great. Choose your favorite! Brands like Ghirardelli or Wilton are great options!
Place chocolate chips or melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat at 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval. Continue until chocolate is smooth and fully melted—usually within 1-2 minutes total.
Yes! Store them uncovered in the fridge for up to a day before serving.
You can freeze them briefly to set faster, but long-term freezing isn’t recommended as berries become mushy when thawed.
The key is to start with completely dry, chilled strawberries. Moisture makes chocolate slip off, so gently pat them dry after washing and refrigerate before dipping for the best coating.

I love strawberries and chocolate looking good
Oh, these would be so great. I love most fruits dipped in chocolate, lol, but especially strawberries.
These are so nice. I’ve made them once to bring to a get together, and totally forgot about them. I like this new way to dip them with the mini chips – must try!
