Rinse strawberries and dry.

Quick tip: Be sure the strawberries are completely dry and cold before dipping them in chocolate. If not, it will be difficult to coat them evenly.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place chocolate in a small microwavable bowl and microwave chocolate at 30-second increments, stir chocolate in between until smooth.

  • 8 oz good quality chocolate
  • Mini Chocolate Chips or Sprinkles if you'd like

Instructions

  1. Like a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Microwave chocolate at 30 second intervals in a microwave safe bowl, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the chocolate, letting it coat the whole berry.
  4. If you decide to add something like chocolate chips like I do, dip the chocolate covered strawberry in mini chocolate chips immediately after dipping it in the chocolate.
  5. Place the chocolate covered strawberries on the baking sheet and refrigerate for about 10 minutes. The chocolate hardens rather quickly!
  6. Store your chocolate covered strawberries in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
