  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk

Instructions

Cream butter, Brown Sugar, Sugar in a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer.

Add in Egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Beat well on medium-high speed.

In a small bowl, sift together the dry ingredients – flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix in the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Be sure to scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Scoop the cookie cupcake batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
