How do you make a Christmas swirl Bundt cake?
To make a Christmas Swirl Bundt Cake, you’ll start by whipping up a simple vanilla pound cake batter, then divide it into three portions.
Color two parts of the batter with red and green gel food coloring, and alternate spoonfuls of each color in a Bundt pan to create a festive swirl pattern.
For even swirls, rotate the pan slightly as you add each color.
Bake at 350°F for about 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean and the cake is golden brown. Ensure the cake cools before removing from the Bundt pan to prevent sticking.
Finish your delicious holiday bundt cake with a simple glaze or vanilla frosting for a festive touch. A vanilla glaze or cream cheese frosting pairs perfectly with the vanilla pound cake.
What is the secret to getting a bundt cake out?
To easily get a Bundt cake out of the pan, thoroughly grease and flour the pan, ensuring all crevices are covered. Let the cake cool for 10-15 minutes before gently loosening the edges with a knife. Place a plate or rack over the pan and flip it confidently. If the cake sticks, tap the sides or bottom of the pan to help release it.
