Why You’ll Love Muffin Tin Eggs Benedict
- Every serving comes out evenly cooked
- Easier than traditional Eggs Benedict
- Great for serving a crowd
- No swirling water or vinegar needed
- Perfect for holidays, Mother’s Day brunch, or meal prep
Can you poach eggs in a muffin tin?
You can’t technically poach the eggs since poaching involves cooking eggs in simmering water, but you can bake them to achieve a similar result.
Cracking eggs into a greased muffin tin creates tender whites and soft, jammy yolks with almost no effort. It’s an easy, hands-off method.
How to Make Easy Eggs Benedict
- Instead of poaching eggs on the stovetop, grease a muffin tin and crack one egg into each cup.
- Bake the eggs until the whites are set but the yolks are still slightly runny.
- While the eggs bake, toast the English muffins and warm the Canadian bacon.
- Prepare a quick blender hollandaise sauce by combining egg yolks, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and slowly streaming in melted butter until smooth.
- Layer each toasted English muffin half with Canadian bacon, top with a baked muffin tin egg, and spoon over warm hollandaise sauce.

Serving Suggestions
Pair eggs with fresh fruit salad, breakfast potatoes, crispy hash browns, mimosas, iced coffee, or a simple green salad for an easy brunch menu.
Some of the most common mistakes include overcooking the eggs, using cold ingredients, burning or breaking the hollandaise sauce, and serving on soggy English muffins. Toasting the muffins well and serving immediately helps keep every layer delicious.
You can swap the English muffin for biscuits, croissants, sourdough toast, hash browns, bagels, waffles, polenta rounds, or even roasted sweet potato slices for a fun twist on the classic recipe.
Bake the eggs in a greased muffin tin at 350°F for about 12-15 minutes, depending on how runny you prefer the yolks. Check them around the 12-minute mark since oven temperatures can vary.

I have actually never had eggs benedict. It sounds like something I would like, though, so I will try it.
Thanks for sharing this. I love eggs benedict, but they are such a pain in the butt to make. I can’t wait to try this recipe.
That looks awesome! This is one of my favorite egg dishes, but I don’t have time for all that business! I’ve got a life! This I could do, though.
Never tried to make eggs Benedict before but this looks easy enough that I could try it. I love eggs Benedict but have never attempted to make it myself.
That really does look easy. I love Hollandaise sauce.
That is brilliant. What a simple way to make eggs that are not hard friends.
I love ordering eggs benedict at resturants but have never tried making them at home. This inspires me to try soon!
I have never had eggs benedict, but I’ve always to try it. Your recipe makes me want to make it soon and I especially like your trick making multiple poached eggs!
I had no idea that this was how you poached eggs. Something new for me. I will try this. I like testing out new recipes.

Those look delicious! I’ve never made eggs benedict myself because they always seemed too complicated but I’m definitely going to try this now!
Love the idea of making the eggs in a muffin tin. I love a good serving of eggs benedict. Going to try this!
YUMMY! My hubby and I always order Eggs Benny when we go to breakfast and this seems like a great way to do it at home for much cheaper 🙂
Oh this is the best! I’ve never made Eggs Benedict before and I think I could do them this way. They look tasty!
Reesa. I have poached eggs for over 40 years, making batch after batch in my skillet, with me hovering over the steaming water…. and then you show me this. THANK YOU! Even for my little crew, I will be doing this. Awesome!
LOL! Life changing!!!
This looks super delicious! I need to give this a try one day this week for sure.
Ohhh I love your version of hollaindaise sauce! I could go for a few of these about now!
I am looking forward to trying this on the weekend. It looks like such an easy way to make delicious eggs.
This looks so delicious and easy to make. It will be perfect for making breakfast for a group or just my Son. He could probably eat a whole tray.
You make this sound really simple and easy to make. I just might give it a try one weekend!

I love eggs! I don’t get to make eggs Benedict but I love that too.
Eggs Benedict is a fav of mine. Order it almost every time I go out for breakfast or brunch. Thank you for sharing your recipe… Ill try making it on a weekend as a treat for my hubby.
I love eggs benedict but I don’t know how to make them. I thought it was really hard.. Thanks for sharing, I’ll surely make some for our family!
I’m obsessed with eggs – they are so addictive! I love the way you’re making poached eggs – they are so bloody hard to make on a stove. I have a little 5-in-1 eggs boiler cooker thing that was only like £15 and it makes the perfect eggs – any eggs! It’s the best invention of the 21st century I’m convinced haha! Definitely fancying some Eggs Benedict now:) x
This is a great breakfast idea! I love how easy this is to make! Will try this soon!
Yum!! I too loved poached eggs! They do feel “fancy” in a way and always seem like a nice treat! I love your group poached egg recipe – I never thought to do this in a muffin tin but it’s such a good idea!
Yum this look delicious. Very tasty and perfect for breakfast. xx
I don’t make this a lot because it is so hard to make. I am going to have to give this one a try!
I think it’s awesome to be able to make this for breakfast. It’s definitely easier than most of the recipes that we’re used to. I’m taking note of this one! It’s a keeper.
I’ve never had eggs benedict before. I think it would be fun to change up breakfast though and give this a try. This looks really tasty!
Why hello there Eggs Benedict! Oh, how I love you 🙂 Such an easy recipe! I love the creamy poached egg over a nice crispy piece of toast! I’m going to have to try the egg in the pan poach….very interesting!
This looks so good! I have never thought to make eggs that way. We always like to have bigger breakfasts on the weekend and this is a new one for us to try. Thanks!
I love your tip for making perfect poached eggs because they can be such a pain. I’ve done it the traditional way and sometimes they don’t come out looking so great. Next time I whip up a batch of eggs florentine or salmon benedict I will definitely baked my eggs in the oven.
I need to show this to the hubs so he can bring me breakfast in bed. Bwah! It looks amazing!
These look wonderful and I’m sure my family will appreciate this dish for breakfast!
Oh Yummy!!! Eggs Benedict are my favourite breakfast food along with hash browns, and these pictures are making me hungry all over again 🙂
I’ve never had eggs benedict but these look so yummy.
I have never made poached eggs in the oven before! That would definitely be easier than the batches I do. My husband LOVES Eggs Benedict.
Girl, I’ve never made a poached egg in my life because I thought I’d screw it up. LOVE this tip about putting them in the oven! On a completely unrelated note to food, your photos are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this post. Eggs Benedict is my favorite brunch food too but I never attempted to make it at home because I don’t like to poach eggs–all that chasing the white around the water in the pan and trying to keep it together is too much for me. But I am totally going to try making them in the oven!
