How to Make a Pink Grapefruit Martini
Grapefruit Martini Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make a refreshing Grapefruit Martini:
If you like, rim your martini glass with salt or sugar. To do this, rub a grapefruit wedge around the rim, then dip it into a plate of salt or sugar. Set the glass aside.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, fresh grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and lime juice (if using).
Always use fresh grapefruit juice for the best flavor. You can easily make simple syrup by dissolving equal parts white sugar and water in a saucepan over low heat. Allow it to cool before using. A good quality vodka can enhance the overall taste of your martini, so choose one you enjoy.
Fill the shaker with ice to chill the mixture, this keeps the martini colder for longer.
Shake it up and strain into the ice.
Garnish with a slice or twist of grapefruit on the rim of the glass. For a fun twist, consider garnishing with fresh herbs like mint or a basil leaf to complement the citrus flavors.
If you’re hosting a party, you can prepare a larger batch of the martini mixture in advance and store it in the fridge. Just shake with ice before serving.

Yes! Substitute the vodka with sparkling water, club soda or a non-alcoholic spirit for a refreshing mocktail.
A standard Grapefruit Martini typically contains about 3 to 4 ounces. When poured into a martini glass, it usually fills the glass to the rim or about three-quarters full.
A Grapefruit Martini generally leans more towards the tart side due to the natural acidity of grapefruit juice. The level of sweetness can be adjusted based on the amount of simple syrup you use. If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, you can increase the simple syrup to balance the tartness. The combination of sweet and tart flavors is what makes this drink refreshing and enjoyable!
Store any leftover grapefruit juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

(Pink Grapefruit Martini) This recipe for the grapefruit martinis sounds really good to me, I would substitute the grapefruit juice with either pineapple or pink lemonade because I take cholesterol medication.
