5 Easy Slow Cooker Dinners for Busy Weeknights
Some nights, the last thing you want to think about is what’s for dinner. Between work, kids, and everything else on your plate, standing over a stove is just not happening.
That’s exactly why slow cooker dinners are a lifesaver. Toss everything in, walk away, and come home to dinner that’s already done.
Here are 5 of my go-to dump-and-go dinners that the whole family loves.

1. Hawaiian Pork Chops
Tender pork chops cooked low and slow in a sweet and savory pineapple sauce. Serve it over rice with a side of steamed broccoli, and dinner is done.
2. Chicken and Gravy
Shredded chicken in a rich, creamy gravy is pure comfort food. Spoon it over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a meal everyone will ask for again.
3. Mississippi Pot Roast
This one’s a classic for a reason. Ranch seasoning, au jus mix, butter, and pepperoncini peppers turn a simple chuck roast into fall-apart, flavor-packed beef. Pile it onto sandwich rolls or mashed potatoes and spoon the juices on top.
4. Slow Cooker Chili
Ground beef, kidney beans, tomatoes, and chili seasoning simmer together for a hearty dinner with almost no prep. Top it with cheese, sour cream, and green onion, and set out some cornbread on the side.
5. Honey Garlic Chicken
Sweet, savory, and just a little sticky. This one cooks up perfectly over rice or noodles, with a quick veggie on the side.

It only takes about 10 minutes to prep any of these, and then your slow cooker takes it from there. Pin this for later, and let me know which one you try first!
