    This quick coffee cream cheese frosting is smooth, fluffy, and adds the perfect touch to any homemade dessert.

    Ingredients

    • 8 oz cream cheese softened
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 2 tbsp instant coffee dissolved in 1 tbsp boiling water
    • 4 ½ cups powdered sugar
    Makes: 9 x 13inch rectangle

    Instructions

    • Add cream cheese, vanilla and coffee to a mixer and beat well.
    • Add powdered sugar and beat on low until all sugar is combined. Then increase speed and beat until you have a frosting like consistency. 
    • Place into a large pastry bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe onto cupcakes or cake.
    • Serve immediately or loosely cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. 

    Notes

    Storage: Keep frosting-covered desserts loosely covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, refrigerate frosting in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw in the fridge overnight and re-whip before using.
