How to Bake Apples in an Air Fryer
- Start by choosing firm apples that will hold their shape while cooking. Varieties like Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith all work well.
- Core the apples and remove the seeds, leaving the bottoms intact if you’d like to keep the filling from spilling out.
- Brush the tops with melted butter, then mix up your filling and gently stuff each apple. You can customize the flavor by adding raisins, cranberries, or a dash of nutmeg.
- Place the apples in the air fryer and cook until they’re tender and the filling is golden brown. Be sure not to overcrowd the basket.
