How to Make an Adorable & Easy No Sew Sock Bunny

All you need is some simple materials like a couple of old socks, some stuffing, and a few basic supplies to make a DIY sock bunny.

The best part about this great Easter craft? No sewing required – just a few simple steps and you’ll have a sweet little bunny to keep or give as a gift.

One sock makes 1 bunny, so you know you can at least make 2 adorable sock bunnies with one pair of socks. It’s the perfect craft for that lone sock or with some inexpensive socks from the dollar store.

You can use single socks of all different sizes to make this great sock bunny craft.

How to Make Sock Bunnies

Materials

  • A small sock (You need socks with a little bit of ankle to create ears)
  • Rice
  • String or a rubber band
  • Ribbon (optional)
  • Pom pom

Tools

Fill the heel of the sock with rice. This is going to be his bottom. Tie off your rice filled area with some string.

With more rice, fill the top of the sock. This creates the sock bunny’s head. Tie this off with another piece of string.

Now for the bunny ears. Cut straight down the middle of the ankle piece to create 2 ear shapes, creating a point at the top like a real bunny ear shape.

Tie a coordinating piece of ribbon around the bunny’s neck.

Using a marker, add some eyes, nose, mouth, whiskers etc as desired to make a bunny face.

You can also decorate your sock bunny’s face using buttons or felt pieces for the eyes, nose, and mouth. You can also use embroidery thread to stitch on details if you prefer.

Lastly, glue on his little pom-pom tail to the back to make a bunny bottom! 

Repeat the process to create more sock Easter bunnies in different colors and sizes.
