How to make butterfly snack bags with pipe cleaner?
- Start by filling a snack-size zip-top bag with your favorite treats like fruit, cereal, crackers, popcorn, or pretzels.

- Be careful not to overfill the bag and gently press out any excess air before sealing it tightly.
- Next, separate the snacks so half sit on each side of the bag, leaving a small space in the center.
- Wrap a pipe cleaner around the center of the bag to create the butterfly’s body.
- Twist it securely in the middle, then twist the top ends together and curl them outward to form antennae.
- Repeat with additional snack bags and customize them with colorful pipe cleaners, googly eyes, or clothespins for an extra fun touch.

They can last up to 3–5 days if filled with dry snacks (like cereals, pretzels, or crackers) and stored in a cool, dry place. For fresh items like fruit, it’s best to consume the snack bag within a day or 2 to ensure freshness. Storing fruit-filled snack bags in the fridge can help extend their freshness a bit, but it’s best to assemble fresh snack bags on the day they’ll be eaten.
