DIY Butterfly Snack Bags

These Butterfly Snack Bags are a fun and easy kid-friendly snack idea made with snack bags, pipe cleaners, and your favorite treats. Perfect for classroom parties, birthday celebrations, spring activities, and lunchbox surprises, these adorable butterfly snacks come together in just minutes.

Ingredients

  • Snack bags
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Snacks: fruit cereal goldfish, pretzels, cheerios

Instructions

  1. Place snack of your choice in each snack bag.
  2. Do not overfill.
  3. Release as much air from the bag as possible and seal the bag.
  4. Divide the snacks in the middle of the bag (this is where the pipe cleaner will wrap around the bag.)
  5. Fold the seal of the bag over towards the back to hide it.
  6. Wrap a pipe cleaner around the center of the bag of snacks.
  7. Twist the pipe cleaner at the top a few times.
  8. Then, use your finger or a pencil to create the butterfly's antennae for the butterfly by twisting it around.
  9. Repeat this process for the desired amount of snacks and butterflies you will need.
  10. Display your butterflies and then serve!
