Ingredients

  • ¼ cup 4tbsp butter, softened at room temperature
  • ¼ cup cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips + more for the outside of the football
  • White frosting

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer or a large bowl using a hand mixer, cream together the peanut butter, butter and cream cheese until it is well blended and fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract.
  2. Finally, add in the powdered sugar. A little at a time. Start at low speed and work your way up.
  3. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips. 
  5. Making the football shape is super easy. Lay a large piece of parchment paper on your serving tray.
  6. Place your peanut butter dip in the center and fold over the parchment over it.
  7. Shape the dip into a football shape. Remove the parchment paper. 
  8. Top your Peanut Butter Football Dip with mini chocolate chips.
  9. Make the laces for the football with white frosting. 

Recipe Notes

You can make and shape it up to 24 hours in advance. Just cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until game time.

It will stay fresh in the fridge for 2–3 days when stored in an airtight container or wrapped tightly in plastic wrap.
