Ingredients
16ozbowtie pasta
½cupolive oil
1tbspItalian seasoning
½tbspgarlic powder
¼cupshredded or grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook pasta according to directions on the box until they are al dente in a large pot of salted water.
Drain the cooked pasta and put into a large mixing bowl.
Add in olive oil, seasonings, and parmesan and mix well, coating each bowtie as best as possible.
If using a basket air fryer: Put half of pasta mixture into the basket and air fry at 350 degrees f for 5 minutes.
Shake basket and repeat until edges of pasta begin to brown and pasta starts to look a little dry. Empty the basket onto a paper towel lined plate and repeat the process with the remainder of pasta mixture.
If using an oven style air fryer: Put half of the pasta mixture in a single layer on your cooking tray. Place in the center of the air fryer oven and cook at 350 for 8 minutes.
Using a spatula move pasta around to prevent sticking and make sure as many sides are exposed.
Cook for another 6-8 minutes until the pasta is crispy perfection. You want the edges to begin to look dry and golden brown. *Cook times will vary based on different air fryers and the size of the air fryer basket.
Empty tray onto a paper towel lined plate and repeat with remaining pasta mixture.
Air Fryer Pasta Chips will crisp up more as they cool, so you do not want to cook them until they are hard/crispy.
Serve your crispy pasta chips with your favorite dipping sauce. (Ranch or marinara are favorites)
Store leftover pasta chips in a airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Do not freeze.
