Oreo Donut Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 TBSP. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 TBSP. milk
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 TBSP. vegetable oil
  • 7 crushed oreos for the batter
  • 5-6 oreo cookie crumbs
  • 8 oz. White Melting Chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare donut molds with cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, salt and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the wet ingredients: milk, eggs, vanilla, and oil.
  4. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Roughly chop 7 Oreo cookies and fold them to the donut batter until fully combined.
  6. Using a large spoon, fill the prepared donut pan with batter, filling each well about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake the delicious donuts for 10 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow donuts to cool in the pan for 3-4 minutes, then remove them and allow them to continue to cool on a wire rack. 
  9. On a cutting board, crush 6 cookies with a rolling pin into fine oreo cookie pieces.
  10. Follow the instructions on the candy melts to melt white chocolate in a small bowl.
  11. Dip the tops of the donuts into the white chocolate glaze, and then sprinkle tops with Oreo crumbs, pressing slightly so crumbs stick.
  12. Allow the chocolate to harden and enjoy your oreo doughnuts! 

Recipe Notes

Serve fresh just after glazing.
Store donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to 4 days.
