How to Make Brown Rice in the Instant Pot

Ingredients

  • 2 cups long grain brown rice
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Place water into the electric pressure cooker. Add the rice and stir.
  2. Cover the electric pressure cooker and set the valve to sealing. Program the electric pressure cooker using “manual” or “pressure cook” for 15 minutes.
  3. Allow the pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes prior to quickly releasing the rest of the pressure.
  4. Carefully remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.

Recipe Notes

Store cooked brown rice in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze it for up to 3 months.
