  • ¼ cup buttercream frosting
  • 2 ¼ cups white candy melts
  • Food Coloring

  1. Start by baking your favorite cake flavor (like chocolate or vanilla).
  2. Allow it to cool completely.
  3. Once cooled, crumble the baked cake into a large bowl until it resembles fine crumbs.
  4. Mix in a few tablespoons of frosting (about 1/4 cup) with the cake crumbs until the mixture holds together when pressed.
  5. You can adjust the amount of frosting based on the desired consistency.
  6. Shape the cake mixture in the cakesicle mold. Insert popsicle sticks into each shape.
  7. Freeze for about 15-30 minutes to firm them up.
  8. While the cakesicles are freezing, melt your choice of chocolate (white, milk, or dark) in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
  9. Add food coloring if you want to create festive colors.
  10. Once the cakesicles are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated.
  11. Tap off any excess chocolate.
  12. While the chocolate is still wet, add sprinkles, edible glitter, or Halloween-themed decorations like candy eyes or spider sprinkles.

  13. Place the decorated cakesickles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them sit at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is fully set.
