buttermilk

Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda.
Add buttermilk, melted butter, egg whites and vanilla extract.
Preheat your waffle iron.
Let the waffle batter sit for 2-3 minutes while the iron heats up.
Pour in about 1/3 cup of batter into waffle iron.
Cook until the machine beeps or until your waffle is golden brown, about 2-5 minutes depending on your machine.
Repeat with remaining batter.
Serve buttermilk waffles warm with maple syrup, butter and your favorite toppings.
