Boat Dip Recipe

This easy Boat Dip Recipe is a creamy, cheesy appetizer made with Rotel, taco seasoning, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Ready in just 5 minutes, it's the perfect no-cook dip for lake days, cookouts, parties, tailgates, and summer entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz of sour cream
  • 1 oz Packet of a basic dry taco seasoning
  • 10.5 oz Can Rotel Tomatoes
  • 8 oz bag of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Fritos or Tortilla Chips for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the following ingredients: sour cream, taco seasoning, drained tomatoes and cheese. 
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  3. Sprinkle more cheese on top prior to serving. 
  4. Serve chilled with your favorite dippers. 

Recipe Notes

Store leftover Boat Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Give it a quick stir before serving again, as some liquid may naturally separate.
