Ingredients
1 ½cupsBisquick Baking Mix
1tablespoonwhite sugar
⅛teaspoonground cinnamon
1large eggwhisked
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
¾cupmilk
1tablespoonfrozen buttergrated
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Lightly spray your donut pan with your favorite non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, sugar, and ground cinnamon and whisk together and set aside.
Whisk the egg with a fork or small whisk in a small bowl and then add to the Bisquick mixture.
Add in the vanilla and then the milk.
Mix the dry ingredients together with the wet ingredients using a whisk or a large spoon until the mixture is smooth. If it appears a bit dry, add more milk in, 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach a smooth consistency.
Grate the frozen butter on top of the batter and then mix with a spoon.
Add the batter into the donut pan filling it 2/3rds of the way full. You can use a spoon, a small measuring cup, or fill a piping bag with the batter.
Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until the donuts are done.
To add an extra bit of sweetness and flavor to your pancake mix donuts, sprinkle some powdered sugar over your cooled donuts before serving. Or try adding some melted chocolate or sprinkles for an extra special touch!
Enjoy your homemade donuts while they're still warm!
Recipe Notes
Store donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days. Warm slightly before serving for the best texture.
