Vanilla Buttercream Frosting with Crisco

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Crisco
  • 1 cup of butter
  • 6 cups powdered sugar scooped and leveled
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Add Crisco and butter to the mixer and blend well.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  3. Pour in milk
  4. Whip on HIGH for 4-5 mins so that the buttercream doubles in volume

Store frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Allow it to come to room temperature and re-whip before using. It can also be frozen for up to three months.
