2cupsall purpose flour
1/2cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1teaspoonbaking soda
1/2teaspoonsalt
1cupbuttersoftened
2cupsgranulated sugar
4eggs
1/2cupvegetable oil
1/2cupmilk
1ouncered food coloring
1teaspoonvanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 and line two, 12 cup muffin tin with paper liners. Set aside.
Mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and mix well. Set aside.
Add sugar and butter to a mixing bowl and beat well until fluffy, about five minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each egg.
Add oil, milk and food coloring and beat well.
Add flour mixture and beat just until combined.
Using a 3 tablespoon portion scoop, scoop batter into prepared muffin liners and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and cool completely before frosting.
