Easy 4th of July Charcuterie Board Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Small Watermelon
  • 2 Cups Cherries
  • 12-14 Strawberries
  • 1 1/2 Cups Red Grapes
  • 3 Ounces Salami
  • 3 Ounces Pepperoni
  • 2 Cups Yogurt Pretzels
  • 2 Cups White Crackers
  • 6 Slices Swiss Cheese
  • 6 Slices White cheddar cheese
  • 2 Cups White nuts I used slivered almonds
  • 2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 Cup Blueberries
  • 1 1/2 Cups Blackberries
  • 2 Cups Blue corn tortilla Chips

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting out your star shapes. Slice your watermelon into 1 inch slices, rind still on.
  2. Place them flat down onto a cutting board and cut out stars with your star
    cookie cutter. You can cut and store the rest in the fridge.
  3. Next, place your cheese slices on a dry cutting board and cut out your cheese star
    slices with your star cookie cutter. Begin making board.
  4. Start with your red ingredients at the top of your board. Start with your fruit one after
    the other and end with the salami and pepperoni. Begin the white with the crackers, almonds, and cheese to keep the savory together. Add in the pretzels and marshmallows.
  5. End your board with your blue ingredients. For decorations place a few star cheese slices throughout the board.

You can prepare your charcuterie board ahead of time by assembling the meats, cheeses, and fruits, and then covering it with plastic wrap. Add the crackers and any delicate items like fresh herbs or nuts right before serving.
