Delicious, Creamy Maple Cream Pie
In a medium pot, melt 4 tbsp butter. Stir in heavy cream.
Add cornstarch and sugar, mix together and cook on medium heat until the mixture has thickened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in Crown Maple Amber Color syrup and vanilla extract.
Place graham cracker crust into a pie dish. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Pour maple cream mixture into crust.
Melt remaining 4 tbsp of butter and drizzle on top of pie.
Sprinkle sugar on top and then sprinkle the cinnamon.
Bake about 25 minutes. You will find it is done when the crust has browned, the filling bubbles. The center will be slightly shaky.
Cool on the counter and then move to the refrigerator to set for 2-3 hours before serving.
