Chicken with Caramelized Apples

Delicious caramelized onions and apples over sauteed chicken breasts.

  • 5 Perdue Perfect Portions Chicken Breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt pepper
  • 1 large apple peeled & diced
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp apple butter or cider
  • rosemary & parsley for garnish


  1. Sautee chicken breasts in the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sautee until cooked through and browned on the outside.
  2. Transfer to a dish and keep warm.
  3. Add onions and apples to the pan with the butter.
  4. Cook until soft and caramelized.
  5. Add 2-3 tbsp of apple butter or apple cider and mix in.
  6. Spoon onto the top of the chicken.
  7. Garnish with rosemary and parsley.
