How to Make Wild Oats Dog Bones

You will need:

Whole Wheat Flour
Old Fashioned Oats
oil
water
ground cinnamon
egg
a cookie sheet
rolling pin
cookie cutters
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F.
In large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, oats and cinnamon.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in oil, water and egg.

Mix to form ball, add more water, if needed.

On well floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut with cookie cutter of your choice. Paw prints or dog bones are always adorable for dog treats!

Place 1 Inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Once done baking, leave in oven to harden for 2 hours.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in oil, water and egg.

Notes
Unlike other recipes, you want to bake these on an unlined baking sheet so they get nice and brown.
To store your dog treats, keep them in an airtight container. They will last about 2 weeks out at room temperature or you can keep them in the fridge for about 2 months.
