I love scarecrows, aren’t they just the cutest thing? A few years ago, I rounded up my favorite adorable scarecrow crafts for the kids to make and this year, we made these fun Scarecrow Graham Crackers.

How to Make Scarecrow Graham Crackers

You will need these materials:

- Graham crackers
- Cocoa candy melts
- Candy eyes
- Shredded mini wheats
- Candy corn
- Parchment or wax paper
- Decorating bag or sandwich bag
In a small microwave-safe bowl, add 2 cups of cocoa candy melts and heat in the microwave at 30 second intervals until melted. Be sure to stir regularly.

Fill the decorating bag or sandwich bag with the melted chocolate and cut a tiny tip of the end.

Gently break the graham crackers in half width wise.

Apply a small amount of melted chocolate on the back of a piece of candy corn and place with pointed side down onto the bottom center of the graham cracker, pressing down gently.

Apply a small amount of melted chocolate on the back of 2 candy eyes and place one on each side above the candy corn nose.

Using the decorating bag, draw a wavy line below the candy corn to resemble a smile.

Draw hats onto a piece of parchment or wax paper, the bottom being the length of a graham cracker and transfer to the freezer for 5 minutes to harden.

Apply a small amount of melted chocolate on the back bottom of the hats and carefully stick onto the top of the scarecrow grahams.

Carefully break apart the shredded wheat, apply a small amount of melted chocolate on the back and stick on the bottom sides of the hat to resemble hair.

Just be sure to give the chocolate a few minutes to set before you put the Scarecrow Graham Crackers in bags or start to move them around. You could even put them in the freezer for a few minutes to speed up the process.
These Scarecrow Graham Crackers are perfect for a Fall bake sale, class parties or a fun after school snack for the kids.
