This summer we made a big change in my home. We switched to Walmart Family Mobile powered by T-Mobile. It was my husband’s first interaction with a smart phone and it’s been fun watching him enjoy our new plan! We chose the $49.88 TRULY Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data◊ plan which gives him unlimited Talk and Text & truly unlimited data from Walmart Family Mobile, powered by T-Mobile. We love that there is no contract, no activation fees and no late fees! We just went over to our local Walmart, picked out a plan, picked out a phone, activated it right online and were ready to go.
We’ve spent the summer enjoying the larger bucket of data to share our memories with our friends and family and also, the savings the plan has afforded us as well! We love heading to our local pick-your-own farms to pick some fresh peaches every summer.

I am always making delicious recipes with our fresh peaches, including these Peach Hand Pies.
Peach Hand Pies
Delicious Peach Hand Pies made from freshly picked peaches and a pre-made pie crust.
- 4-5 large peaches (chopped & diced)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp sugar (white)
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter (diced)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 pie crusts (pre-made or handmade)
In a large pot, add diced peaches, water, lemon juice, sugar, vanilla extract, butter and flour.
Cook at medium heat until the mixture had thickened and has become bubbly.
Stir constantly for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat, as the mixture cools it will thicken even more.
Lay out pie crust, using a large round cookie cutter, cut out circles with dough, even amounts for tops & bottoms.
In the center of each circle, spoon about a tablespoon of pie filling.
Top with one of your circles.
Vent the center of each pie with a fork, brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees until the pies are bubbly and browned.
After our long day of peach picking it was nice to come home to unwind. Customers on the $49.88 TRULY Unlimited plan receive a free VUDU** movie rental credit valued at $7.00 each time they renew their service, so we had a quiet movie night at home.
