The holidays are so busy and sometimes finding time to make homemade treats can really be hard! As much as I love spending my days baking and cooking, I know that isn’t always possible.
This Oreo Peppermint Bark is the perfect homemade holiday sweet treat to make for friends, family or anyone you just want to say Happy Holidays too!
With just 3 ingredients, it doesn’t get much easier to make this Oreo Peppermint Bark!
This recipe is based off of my favorite peppermint bark from Costco.
Oreo Peppermint Bark is the perfect treat to bag up and give to friends, neighbors, teachers, the mailman and more. You can put it in cellophane baggies or even in cute Christmas tins.
It will definitely cure your holiday sweet tooth!
You’ll need:
- 24 oz white chocolate chips
- 10 oreos, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup peppermints, crushed
- Parchment paper
- A baking sheet
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt half of the white chocolate chips in the microwave on 30 second intervals, stirring well in between.
Usually 3 30-second intervals does the trick.
Pour the white chocolate onto the parchment paper and smooth into a thin layer.
Layer the oreos in a single layer onto the white chocolate.
Melt the remaining white chocolate and pour over the oreos. Spread evenly.
Sprinkle crushed peppermints over your oreo bark.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours, until chocolate is set.
Break the bark into 3 inch pieces.
