Did you know we are big fans of the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer? I feel so lucky to be the mom to two children who love to read and get so involved in a series like Artemis Fowl! If you have ever read a good book you, know that feeling of sadness when the book ends. Lucky for us, there are 8 books in the Artemis Fowl series!
If you have never read the Artemis Fowl books, here is a quick synopsis:
Twelve-year-old criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl has discovered a world below ground of armed and dangerous–and extremely high-tech–fairies. He kidnaps one of them, Holly Short, and holds her for ransom in an effort to restore his family’s fortune. But he may have underestimated the fairies’ powers. Is he about to trigger a cross-species war?
You can now find the complete series with the re-designed packaging in stores! And every book also includes a sneak peek of The Fowl Twins, a brand-new spinoff novel following the adventures of Artemis Fowl’s twin brothers!
Check out these fun No Bake Golden Cookie Truffles inspired by the Golden ‘Ingots’ in Artemis Fowl! These No Bake Golden Cookie Truffles are meant to represent Holly’s ransom amount: one ton of 24 carat gold in small unmarked ingots!
No Bake Golden Cookie Truffles - Inspired by the Artemis Fowl Series
- 1 Family Sized Package of Golden Sandwich Cookies (15 oz)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz white melting chocolate
- Gold sprinkles
Crush the cookies in a food processor or put in a plastic bag and crush.
Add the crushed cookies to a large bowl or stand mixer. Add in the cream cheese. The softer the cream cheese the better.
Blend the cookies and cream cheese together. Scoop out small balls onto a sheet pan.
Place in the freezer for a minimum of a half hour to harden the balls to make them easier to coat in chocolate.

Remove the balls from the freezer. Place each ball in the chocolate and coat.
Sprinkle gold sprinkles on top.
