Everything you need to know about staying at Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, NJ from hotel recommendations, food and boardwalk fun!
You never know how much you needed a getaway until you are knee deep in the midst of it and it feels oh so good. This past weekend, we traveled to Wildwood, NJ for a little weekend getaway.
If you could believe it, after all of these years, we have never been to Wildwood! One of our favorite times of the year to visit the beach is the off season.
We woke up early and headed down to the beach to make the most out of the beautiful day. Our room wasn’t ready at the Blue Palms yet, but that didn’t stop us from having some fun!
The kids saw that the pool was open still and we immediately changed into our swimsuits. After about 5 fun filled hours of swimming, we headed to our room to get ready for the evening.
We just loved the rides on Morey’s Mariner’s Pier. My kids are in this odd age now where they are too big for baby rides, but too small for the big coasters. Morey’s Pier had something for every age group. There were even some fun rides that we were able to do as a family!
Between the live music, food and drinks we totally lost track of time and it was midnight before we knew it! Good thing that the Blue Palms was just a block away from the boardwalk!
Blue Palms Tip: Save space in the car! The Blue Palms has bicycles and beach chairs for you to use throughout your stay!
The kids past out Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning ready to go! It was another beautiful day in Wildwood and since we had the Oktoberfest Passes, which was good for a ride wristband for the Oktoberfest weekends we headed right back to Morey’s Piers for some more fun.
Each of our wristbands came with a $10 voucher for food or drinks, so Sunday we decided to enjoy some lunch on the pier at Jumbo’s.
Be sure to hit the Kid’s Zone at Oktoberfest! It’s right underneath the Big Swing!
