This was our third year attending Monster Jam, but our first attending the Pit Party. I never knew if it was worth it or not, but I have to say it was a blast!
The Pit Party is all about the fans! This is your chance to get up close and personal with the trucks, drivers and more!
Zombie and El Toro Loco
El Diablo
Metal Mulisha
Madusa – My personal favorite. She made the kids feel extra special with giving pink hair spray, tiaras, boas and more!
The Hot Wheels Zone was awesome. There were a ton of hot wheels cars and trucks for the kids to play with!
Included in the Pit Pass was also:
- BMX, XPogo and Super Cross exhibitions and stunts.
- Kids Zone with slides and bounce houses
- Food
- Amusements like stilt walkers and balloon artists
- Monster Energy Drink samples
- Robosaurus demonstration
- and more!
The Pit Party was from 1-5pm prior to the main Monster Jam event. We got there around 2pm and I wish we got there when it started at 1. The only thing we didn’t get to see was Dennis Anderson aka: Grave Digger. His line was over 2 hours long by the time we got to him and they had closed the line down so he could get his truck inside for the event. Maybe next year!
After the Pit Party we went back to the car and tailgated with some sandwiches and picnic foods until we went into the stadium.
We had a great time and can’t wait for next year to see what Monster Jam has in store!
Hi, we are going this year and was wondering if we have to pay for autographs in the pit or is mostly everything included? Thanks
Hi! Last year, all of the drivers were outside by their trucks in the pit party giving out autographs for free and then after the show too a lot of times they stick around to do more.
Hi, do you have any tip on where to sit? Is higher up seats (cheaper) is better so they can see the entire thing or up close to see more action close?
We’ve sat in both types of places and honestly, I found both to be good. Up higher we did see more of the action, but the kids loved being so close to the trucks in the lower seats. The way the arena is set up, there really aren’t any bad seats.
can you buy just the pit party tickets and how do I do that??
No. You must purchase tickets to the show as well.
