The whole family will love this twist on taco night! Make taco cups out of tortillas and a muffin tin and your favorite taco fillings.
It seems to be Taco Tuesday every night in my house! We’ve come to just love tacos way too much! One of our favorite ways to enjoy tacos lately are these Mini Taco Cups.
The kids love them for lunch or an easy dinner. Making your own taco cups is super easy too!
How to Make Mini Taco Cups
You will need:
Tortillas
Cheese
Your favorite taco toppings
Taco beef or chicken
Salsa
Refried Beans
Step 1: Take a large biscuit cutter or even the bottom of a glass and cut out circles. I find that I can get 4 circles out of a burrito size tortilla.
Step 2: Spray a muffin tin with non-stick spray and lay your cup in the tin.
Step 3: Bake the tortillas at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes until the tortillas are crispy.
Step 4: Fill your taco cups up with your beef or chicken and top with cheese. bake until cheese is melted.
Step 5: Serve with your favorite taco toppings like lettuce, tomato, sour cream, etc.
Besides being perfect for lunch or an easy dinner, these Taco Cups are great for party snacks or appetizers. We’ve even enjoyed them on game day!
You’ll love how the tortillas stay soft, but with a crunchy bite. I always make a big batch of taco meat, so this is a great way to use leftovers too!
