Join Me at Let’s Play Trenton on August 18th as we build a playground, donate sports equipment and get kids active & playing Trenton area!
Thanks Dr Pepper Snapple Group for sponsoring this opportunity for me and my children.
When I became a mom, one of my favorite things to do was take my kids to the playground. Watching them squeal or get sleepy as babies in the swings or wander around and explore once they started walking. Now all of the these years later, it is still one of our favorite things to do.
I love watching the kids play at the playground. They meet up with kids they know from school or even kids they have never seen before. They start to use their imaginations to make up games, they run, they get sweaty, they get tired. If we are having a bad day, a trip outside to the playground is like a complete reset for us.
That’s why I have partnered with Let’s Play, an initiative by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, is a community partnership that helps kids and families play nationwide. They’ve partnered with a nonprofit partner, KaBOOM! to create new playgrounds throughout communities nationwide. They believe that the key to healthy living is managing calories in and calories out, with a goal to help families achieve balance by providing the tools, places and inspiration to make physical activity a daily priority.
On Friday August 18th, I will have the opportunity to give back to the Trenton community by participating in the upcoming Build Day portion of Let’s Play Trenton. I will be partnering with Dr Pepper Snapple Group to share the importance of active play throughout the Trenton community and beyond.
I’ll be joining Dr Pepper Snapple, and Drink Bai as a Let’s Play ambassador to build a playground and donate sports equipment to children in the Trenton area. We’re on a mission to get kids more active and playing in the community!
