My favorite way to Snackify RITZ® crackers? Hoagie Dip!
Hoagie Dip is so perfect because it’s something I am able to whip on a complete whim. We always have cold cuts, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo in the house. Like I told you, we always have RITZ® crackers too! We first had this dip about ten years ago at a friend’s BBQ. Sometimes we’d have it on slices of Italian bread, but that is not always on hand or readily available. RITZ® crackers became a quick stand-in and a quick replacement after the first taste!
The recipe is quick and simple! It’s the perfect appetizer for all of your summer picnics too! Start by thinly slicing cold cuts like ham, turkey and salami. Next cheese. Followed by iceberg lettuce and diced tomatoes.
In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, oil and vinegar with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
Combine, refrigerate and enjoy!
Quick and Easy Hoagie Dip is the perfect appetizer to all of your spring and summer picnics! Serve on top of buttery RITZ Crackers for a delicious snack!
- 1/2 pound deli ham (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 pound deli turkey (thinly sliced,)
- 1/2 pound deli salami (thinly sliced,)
- 1/2 pound cheese (thinly sliced)
- 1 ripe tomato (diced)
- 1 cup of thinly shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1/2 mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- Combine the first 6 ingredients.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayo, vinegar, oil and spices.
- Mix mayo with the cold cuts until combined.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve on top of RITZ Crackers.
